Canadian Rockies Pt. 2 - Jasper and Icefields Parkway

After leaving Golden and driving through Yoho Nat. Park we headed up the Icefields Parkway to Jasper National Park where we camped for a few days.  The parkway is 140 miles of jaw dropping scenery.

It's a gorgeous 3 mile run into downtown Jasper along this trail.

The other end of the trail near downtown Jasper,

Maligne gorge

Kerry and I almost bought this but then thought we'd save our $1M for something else and mostly because we couldn't fit it in the car.

Roadside attraction on the Icefields Parkway.  This fine looking gal was ravaging the top of this tree.  She had two of her cubs parked three branches down.

And a little perspective to show how high she was.

Weeping wall.

Canada trip pictures to be continued . . .

This past weekend was the Rusty Ride and I had a great time getting a traildust tan and sharing good times with friends and family.  I'll have to do a little write up on that also.
